While we recommend Apple products, families are free to purchase a device of their choosing for their students. Regardless of selection, please be sure your device purchased will support 5GHz WiFi. We have also found that Chromebooks tend to be most problematic for students.

When purchasing a laptop, we recommend considering a padded neoprene sleeve rather than a hard case.
As laptops get thinner, the bezel (or frame) around the screen often gets smaller. As a result, a hard case that clips onto the device can actually damage your laptop screen.
